OTHER BANK
Other Bank is a Georgian movie. The story is basically about Tedo an innocent boy searching his father in Abchasia, apart from this, the theme is Georgian Abchasian conflict. This film shows how human mind is prepared to behave in a particular incident. One day Tedo comes to know that mother keto has a lover, then he decided to return to his father in Abchasia. The journey was very tough and he is not accepted anywhere, so he decided to act like a deaf and dumb boy. Tedo had face many problem in the train journey. He left his place and he entered in to a new world. Ticket examiner pulled him out of the train, same time he reached the smugglers gang. Till the end he couldn't see his father. At the end of the journey he got some enlightment . Director tried to attract the attention of the viewers to subjects like imperialism, border issues, wars, military rule etc.During his journey he had been taken in to an Abchasian family, whose son got died in the war. So he is getting ill treatment from them. Finally director tries to convey the message through Tedo that, real war is in between the minds of the people, not in between the countries.
